Math for Skilled Trades – Educator Day

In partnership with the IBEW #124, Plumbers #8 and MoKan Laborers we are offering a professional development opportunity geared towards mathematics instructors teaching pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry. This event will cover the curriculum and utilization of math from three diverse trade perspectives. Instructors will gain insight in local apprenticeship opportunities, better understand how to connect math concepts to real world examples, and leave with information to support their students.
